EPOC will be hosting Dominic Tisi, the coordinator of the Sustaining Innovation programme, will share insights into the background and evolution of Astex Pharmaceuticals from start-up biotech to pioneers of fragment-based drug discovery.
Dominic Tisi will be discussing the Sustaining Innovation programme and opportunities within the programme now and in the future. Dominic will be joined by two current members of the Sustaining Innovation Postdoc program, Honorine Lebraud and Harry Jubb. Both Honorine and Harry will give their own personal insights and perspectives of research within an industrial setting and the challenges and opportunities this can provide.
There will be plenty of opportunity to network, along with pizza and beer!
